Welcome to the Mortgage Lending Department's fund raising page. At Leeds Building Society we are proud to support Dementia UK as our charity partner as voted for by our members and colleagues.

As a department we are aiming to raise £5000 this year for Dementia UK. This page will tally the total that everyone has managed to raise through various individual and team events.

We have recently individually completed the 110km dog walking challenge.

On the 30th of July around 45 members of the department along with friends and family will attempt to walk 26 miles along the Cleveland Way in a single day. It will begin outside Scarborough and end in Whitby. This will be further than any of us have walked in a single attempt and will test the limits of our endurance.

There have and will be ongoing office based fundraising events and we hope to gather as much support as possible, so keep an eye out for further updates.

**The walk alone raised £4482 - this amount is being matched by Leeds Building Society**

Any further donations being made are from various charity events held by team members as we continue to work collectively to raise funds throughout the end of the year for Dementia UK.

Dementia UK is the only UK charity caring for people with dementia and their families, with their specialist dementia Admiral Nurses.
