Raising money for The Outward Bound Trust

Campaign by The Outward Bound Trust (RCN 1128090 (England & Wales), SC040341 (Scotland))
Your fundraising will enable disadvantaged young people across the UK to experience the life-changing power of the outdoors on a residential course at one of our 6 Outdoor centres across the UK.

Story

On Sunday 2 October 2022 eight National Grid employees will run the TCS London Marathon in support of The Outward Bound Trust. This fantastic charity helps young people to defy limitations through learning and adventures in the wild. They challenge young people to never give up, to change their perspective and to learn the most important lesson: to believe in themselves. Through their residential courses, they equip young people with a stronger sense of self-belief, ability to cope better with stressful situations and interact more positively with others. They develop the attitudes, skills and behaviours young people need to make positive changes in their lives.
