Ten years ago, Neil suffered a heart attack that changed his perspective on life. He realized that happiness and freedom were not things that could be taken for granted and that he needed to seize every opportunity to live life to the fullest. What better way to do that than by the challenge of sailing around the coasts of Great Britain for 6 months with his friend Shaun in Waikare, a Sadler 29ft sail boat.

As they journey around the coast from April 2023, Neil is raising money for two charities that are close to his heart - the British Heart Foundation and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. These organizations have provided support and care for Neil, and he wants to give back by raising awareness and funds to help others who may be going through similar experiences.
