SEPSIS Awareness

Raising money for UK Sepsis Trust

Sepsis accounts for 48,000 deaths annually in the UK, that’s more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer put together. Sepsis is what happens when our immune system overreacts to an infection. Symptoms initially present as flu like but can rapidly deteriorate into a life threatening condition.

Story

After losing my sister Shona to SEPSIS in 2020 I want to continue to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of SEPSIS in the hope it will save someone’s life in the future. I am in Nigeria the month of July for work so getting steps in at times can be a challenge but will look to raise awareness whilst here in Escravos
