This year, our Chief Fire Officer is setting the pace for something truly special – a service-wide challenge to raise £10,000 for The Fire Fighters Charity.

From May to September 2025, we’re coming together as one fire family to support the mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing of our fire and rescue colleagues across the UK. This isn’t just about fundraising – it’s about unity, pride, and doing something extraordinary for those who do extraordinary things every day.

To close the challenge in style, our Chief Fire Officer, Craig Parkin, will be taking on the legendary North Coast 500 – a grueling 528-mile cycle around the stunning but brutal coastline of northern Scotland – over seven days in September.

But this is just the beginning.

We’re calling on all teams across Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service to get involved with this challenge, and we need your help! Please help us reach our £10,000 target by the end of September - no matter how big or small the donation, it all helps!
