Team fundraising for Marine Conservation Society

Raising money for Marine Conservation Society

The Marine Conservation Society is the UK charity dedicated to protecting our seas, shores and wildlife. We work to ensure that the rich wildlife of our seas can be restored, that fish stocks can recover and our beaches and bathing waters can become cleaner.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are a team of 8 open water swimmers who are taking on a huge challenge this July. We are hoping to complete a relay swim from the Channel Islands (Alderney) to mainland Britain. This swim has never been attempted before. It is a distance of at least 56 miles and if successful, we estimate it will take over 30 hours to complete.

We are raising money for the Marine Conservation society who do amazing work to help preserve our oceans and all life within them, and ultimately our planet. As open water swimmers, we feel it is a privilege to be able to share the sea with its natural inhabitants and want to show our appreciation and give something back to them.

Please give what you can to support this great charity.
