A group of old farts from Billericay came up with the daft idea to try to complete four rounds of golf in a day, despite the fact that most of us struggle to get round once on a Saturday afternoon, some due to fitness and others running out of golf balls!

We are doing this to raise some money for Cure4George. We all know George and he's grown up into a fine young man.

Cure4George supports Duchenne UK a charity that has one clear aim to end Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD).

DMD is a devastating muscle-wasting disease. It is the most common and severe form of muscular dystrophy. Diagnosed in childhood, it mainly affects boys. Started by families affected by the disease, Duchenne UK is the leading DMD charity in the UK: connecting the best researchers with industry, the NHS and families to advance and accelerate every stage of drug development.

Together, we will end Duchenne.
