Coombe House tutor groups are raining money for Cancer Research UK.
Their initiatives will be detailed here over the coming weeks.
To kickstart the drive, Mr Wells cycled the equivalent distance from Lands End to John O'Groats on his exercise bike, raising a running total of £466.
