Raising money for Dumfries Sea Cadets and Blesma The Limbless Veterans

Story

So a few months ago my daughter asked a simple question, "Dad can we do another walk this year?". Simple answer was yes, what do you want to do? The answer wasn't quite the one I expected, but here we are, a few months later getting ready to start the Southern Upland Way.

We decided to make it a charity walk for many reasons, we are going to raise money for the Dumfries Sea and Royal marine cadets (Abigail is a member) and money is also being raised for BLESMA; a charity which supports ex service personnel after life changing injuries. We'd like to split all monies raised equally and can promise you it will all go towards making a real difference, both locally and nationally

Participants are all aged between 12 and 16, they aim to walk from one side of Scotland to the other; thats 214 miles or 346 km depending on who you ask. So here's to blue skies and no midges.

Please choose the charity to support by clicking on the donate now link next to them. Can we just ask that you help keep them level as we would really like to share our efforts equally.
