Story
This is just somewhere for people who wish to send a charitable donation (for example, in lieu of flowers) to the memory of my mum Susan Pashley and her son, my brother, Barry Pashley. They both lost their lives to Covid-19 within days of each other. My dad Michael is recovering, also from Covid-19, and my other brother David, is also recovering whilst simutaneously having to be away from home for the first time as he is being looked after at a carehome.
The first of the two charities is Nightingale Macmillan Unit at the Royal Derby Hospital. It is there where Barry spent his last day, with my wife Laura and I by his side. The Nightingale provides care to patients with advanced progressive and life limiting illness in Southern Derbyshire and supports relatives at this time as well. We were so grateful for finding a place at this peaceful sanctuary and the staff at the unit (and the wards where all of my family were) were wonderful.

The second charity is Treetops Hospice Care, which provides nursing care and emotional support for adults and their families in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. Barry was a much loved member of the team at the Treetops Hospice Care charity shop in his home village of Draycott.
