THRYVE is proud to support STAMMA, the UK charity supporting people who stammer.

This September, our team will be taking on the 25km Peak District Challenge to raise money in support of STAMMA and the incredible work they do.

Our founder, John, has stammered his entire life. He began stammering when he first learned to speak and spent much of his childhood scared to talk. He often relied on family members to speak for him and struggled with the anxiety and embarrassment that can come with a stammer.

Speech therapy at 16 helped him enormously, and without it his life may have been very different. Even today, his stammer remains part of his life.

Supporting STAMMA is therefore something very personal to us. Their work raising awareness, challenging misconceptions, and supporting people who stammer makes a real difference, and we're proud to help support that mission.
