No one should grow up to feel that their stammer will limit their career, family, or future.

Right now, that’s the reality for many people who stammer in the UK.

STAMMA exists to change this.

We support hundreds of people a year, children and adults.

We’ve groups for parents, regular Minecraft Club sessions for children. A support service for people in or seeking work. A free phoneline, email and chat service for anyone wanting support with their stammer or to find out more about stammering. And an Advocacy Service for those who believe they’ve been discriminated against because of their stammer.

We campaign to influence organisations – from schools and universities to banks and government departments – to remove the barriers people who stammer face.

None of us should grow up fighting for the space to talk, and helping us with resources we need, the next generation won’t have to.
