The Peaky Climbers Challenge!!
Wessex Water Three Peaks Challenge 2021 (Mitsubishi Donation 2022)
On the 19th of June 2021, The Wessex Water Peaky Climbers completed the 24hr National Three Peaks Challenge raising £4’215 for the Macmillan Cancer Support Charity.
I am delighted to announce that one of our automation framework suppliers & developers (Mitsubishi Electric) have today kindly donated a further £1’000 to the Macmillan Cancer Support Charity in recognition of our achievement.
I would like to give a huge thanks to Jason Lee on behalf of Mitsubishi Electric who presented me with a cheque this morning which will shortly be passed on to the Macmillan Cancer Support Charity.

WE DID IT!!
THE CHALLENGE IS COMPLETE, WELL DONE TEAM 29.5HRS........
The Peaky Climbers challenge has now been postponed until the 19th June 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are a team of 17 colleagues all working at Wessex Water attempting to complete the National Three Peak Challenge.
This involves climbing Britain's Three highest Peaks being Ben Nevis in Scotland (1345m), Scafell Pike in England (978m), and Snowdon in Wales (1085m). All Three peaks must be compl
eted within 24hrs.
The total ascent climbed will be 10'052ft over a distance of 23 miles.
The challenge will also require two vehicles with support drivers transporting all team members between peaks, and covering around 462 miles.
Personally completing this challenge in memory of my mum Shirley who was supported throughout her fight with cancer by the Macmillan cancer support group.
Thank you Macmillan
