Marie Curie is the largest independent provider of end of life care and the largest charitable provider of hospice care beds

These past 2 years have been hard for everyone especially Charities like Marie Curie with many of their fundraising opportunities not going ahead so lets do something about it this Year. Michael & I will be treking the Canadian Rockies in June/July 2022 (DATE CHANGED DUE TO COVID) for Marie Curie Hospices. We treked The Great Wall of China in 2018 to Raise funds for Marie Curie Care following my Wife's Death in 2017, this time we are asking you to support us by donating however big or small amount you can give for the Hospices run by Marie Curie.

The Doctors and Nurses that work in the Hospices need our help to maintain the great service they give, Remember it's not only Cancer Patients they care for but all the Terminally ill, Who knows you may need their help in the future, I never thought our family would need their help but in 2017 I saw first hand the great service they Give.

Marie Curie Hospices are Part Funded by The Govenment but still need to raise 46% of their costs from Donations. They need to raise £5,500 every hour to cover the cost of Marie Curie’s entire nursing service across the UK. Marie Curie has nine hospices across the UK who provide free specialist care for those with terminal illnesses. It costs more than £48.2m a year to run all of Their hospices. What ever Terminal Illness a person has be it Cancer, MND, Dementia and many other illnesses Marie Curie can provide care & Support. The Hospices offer round-the-clock, expert care and support, in a friendly, welcoming environment. Some people visit for the day to use services, while others stay for longer.

Hospices offer specialist care and support for people living with any terminal illness – they aren’t just places for people with terminal cancer.

Please support us we need to raise £7700 between us before April 2022, All the monies Donated go straight to Marie Curie now so as to help straight away in their good work.
