Leah, Maddie and myself will be taking part in the Big Boots Hike on the 11th September walking 6 miles raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support. We would appreciate any and all donations, lets hope the sun is shining on the day!

In the UK, there are approximately 3.5 million people living with cancer with someone receiving a diagnosis on average every 90 seconds.

For the last 16-years, Boots and Macmillan Cancer Support have been working in partnership to give everyone, everywhere, the cancer information and support they need. From the moment you or a loved one is diagnosed, through treatment and beyond, we’re here to offer advice and support, every step of the way.

On Thursday 11 September 2025, a team of Boots colleagues from across its stores, support office and supply chain will be lacing up their walking boots to do something mighty for Macmillan. On a mission to raise as much money as possible for those affected by cancer, they’ll be hiking either 6 or 14 miles around their home city of Nottingham.
