Story
On September 19th, six of us from Practice Plan’s Marketing Team will be walking Oswald’s Trail to raise vital funds for PCAS-Shropshire. They're a self-funded organisation at risk of closure without urgent support.
PCAS-Shropshire provides an invaluable service to our community and your support could make all the difference in helping them continue their essential work. They were founded in 1995 by the Shropshire Disability Consortium. They provide a community-based, independent advocacy service for people with any disability, over the age of 18, in Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin.
Read on to learn more about the incredible impact they have and how you can help keep their doors open...
"We at PCAS are so passionate about helping people, we go the extra mile, we ensure people are listened to. We help people to stay living in their own homes with the help and support they need to do this. We help people who are or have been abused move on and have a better quality of life free from further abuse. We help older people manage their finances, listen to them, ensure their care needs are delivered in a way that is best for them, we ensure older people are not forgotten about, helping ease isolation, improve their mental health. Please help us? After 26 years we may have to close due to a lack of funding, we do not want to be a victim of covid, with over 80 vulnerable people waiting for our help, we need to be here for them!!!"
We thank you for your support!
