Over 75,000 young people in the UK need to use a wheelchair to be mobile. Unfortunately, they cannot access the equipment that meets their needs through local services. We're here for all of them.

Whizz Kidz is the UK’s leading charity supporting young wheelchair users up to 25 years old. They empower young wheelchair users with the equipment, support, and confidence-building experiences they need to take an active role in society. The Whizz Kidz goal is to create a movement for progress towards a more open and accessible world.

When our own Stanley broke their leg and ended up in a wheelchair during Covid, it became clear how traditional wheelchairs often fall short in many environments—from sandy beaches to rugged mountain trails, and even on ordinary pavements. This experience ignited a passion to advocate for better solutions.

We are excited to announce that we will be participating in the London Marathon on April 26, 2026, with a target of raising £5,000. This event is not just about running; it’s about supporting long-term young wheelchair users and their families so they can lead active lives filled with joy and adventure.
