Story
Lancashire and South Cumbria provides mental health, learning disability, autism and community-based services for the whole of Lancashire and South Cumbria with a population of around 1.8 million people.
Friday 10th October will see colleagues and representatives from across Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust marking World Mental Health Day by undertaking a Charity Walk along Blackpool promenade.
Collectively we are aiming to walk 100km as part of Hope and Mind at LSCFT's 100km October Challenge and to officially launch our NHS Charity and to encourage conversations around mental health and reduce stigma.
We see and hear stories every day about the importance of our services and encouraging conversations to help support mental wellbeing. We want to do more for our patients and help them have the best experience possible when they need our services or may be at their most vulnerable. That is why we are asking for your support to help us raise funds so we can make even more of a difference for our patients, families, carers and communities.
Hope and Mind at LSCFT goes above and beyond to enhance and complement the services provided by Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust and aims to enrich the experience of those receiving care and the communities around them.
Please join us in shaping a future that reduces stigma, improves the healthcare experience and makes a difference. Together, we can bring hope and support brighter futures for our communities.
