Team Harry fundraising for Northern Ireland Hospice

Raising money for Northern Ireland Hospice

Purple Dash 2026 · 27 June 2026 ·

The Purple Dash is a colourful, 5k charity run/walk to raise vital funds for Northern Ireland Children's Hospice.

Story

A group of us are taking part in the NI hospice purple dash 5k for our dear friends little boy Harry. Harry was born with a life limiting condition called Miller dieker syndrome. God has been with this precious, happy and sweet little boy, who has defied the odds and made it past his first birthday. Harry, his big brother Tommy and his mummy and daddy have benefited from being able to use the children's hospice as a family. We are running this 5k to raise much needed funds for this very important charity close to our hearts. NI hospice recommends each person taking part to raise a minimum of £150. There are at least 10 of us taking part so we are aiming to raise at least £1500!

💜 Supporting NI Children’s Hospice through the Purple Dash

NI Children's Hospice provides specialist care and support for babies, children, and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions across Northern Ireland.

This includes expert nursing care, short break (respite) care, and support for families both in the hospice and within the community, helping families make the most of every moment together.

The Purple Dash is a fun, family-friendly fundraising event that brings communities together to walk, jog, or run in support of this vital care.

By getting involved and fundraising, you are helping to raise much needed funds to ensure NI Children’s Hospice can continue delivering compassionate, specialist care to children and families when they need it most.

Every step, every donation, and every supporter makes a real difference.

Thank you for being part of the Purple Dash and supporting hospice care for children across Northern Ireland.
