Story
On July 25th it’s my 50th birthday. It will also mark 25 years to the day since my daughter, Amber was diagnosed with Rett syndrome.
In 2010, I co-founded Reverse Rett, a UK Rett syndrome patient organisation focused on accelerating treatment for this wretched condition which continues to deeply impact our lives and the lives of everyone affected.
Ours is a small but national charity. We can only continue to do what we do if people raise money to help us with our work.
My challenge this year is to get 50 people to do something to help.
Whatever you can do, whether it's a cake sale, a raffle, a mufti day or run a marathon, I'd be grateful for anything.
Please just join me, in celebrating my 50 years and half of that now spent wrestling Rett syndrome with my beautiful girl.
Thank you
