Macmillan

Anyone who knows me knows that the thought of jumping out of a plane is absolutely terrifying to me. I am not exactly the biggest risk taker, but now I want to set myself the challenge!

I will be completing my jump with my equally crazy pal Matt, who is also raising money for Macmillan. We are completing our dive on the 24th June 2023. If you want to donate to his page and read his story, I’ve attached his page here!

Macmillan is an important charity to me - and most likely to you too, as I’m sure we all know someone who has previously been, or currently is, affected by cancer. My leap of faith from a plane at 15000ft I hope will raise money to support people living with cancer and aid their treatment.

I am pleased to say that I have now reached and surpassed my initial target of £395. This money will be donated to Macmillan. Any funds raised over this will be split between Macmillan and The Fertility Foundation.

The Fertility Foundation is a UK fertility charity which aims to provide support and help to individuals and couples with advice, information and ultimately, practical assistance in accessing fertility treatment. Fertility treatment is a long and expensive process, and with NHS cuts, it is becoming harder for couples to access fertility treatment. The Fertility Foundation ensures that they support individuals and couples who are wanting to start or extend their families by funding fertility treatment when they can’t afford it.

Both charities are important to me and those close to me. Any donation to your chosen charity is greatly appreciated!
