Story
Hello! We are the University of Aberdeen's Raising & Giving (RAG) committee.
First and foremost, we have decided to raise funds for two charities this academic year. We have focused on a wide range of causes in the past, but this year, we've decided to concentrate our efforts on two charities that we believe can significantly impact our community.
CFINE (Community Food Initiatives Northeast) is a unique charity based in the city of Aberdeen. It's not just about providing food but also helping those transitioning from incarceration and offering training programmes for employment in food warehousing environments. Their comprehensive approach to accessibility to food is what sets them apart.
GREC (Grampian Regional Equality Council) is another charity based in the city of Aberdeen that has a leading role in advancing equality across the northeast of Scotland.
Your collaboration in our journey to raise funds for these incredible charities is crucial. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of those in need. We hope you see the importance of our cause and will join us in this endeavour.
Hence we're excited to be walking the Kiltwalk this June, as part of our fundraiser. PLEASE DONATE!
