Story
For me, this challenge is first and foremost about awareness. Too often, mental health remains a difficult topic to discuss openly.
As I ride through the streets and lanes, I want to break down barriers, encourage honest conversations, and remind everyone that asking for help - or offering support - is a sign of strength, not weakness.
But right now, our mental health services are facing severe cuts and stretched resources. Support that should be available is becoming harder to access, and many are left waiting in crisis. That's why this year, alongside raising awareness, I'm pushing hard to raise vital funds.
Every donation, big or small, helps protect and support the services people rely on.
The Mental Health Foundation is the UK’s charity for everyone’s mental health.
With prevention at the heart of what they do, the Mental Health Foundation aim to find and address the sources of mental health problems so that people and communities can thrive.
