Thank you for supporting me in Jett Foundation's National Challenge!

Javon was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at the age of eight. Between the ages of 10 and 11, he lost his ability to walk. He has been in a clinical trial for almost a year and a half, traveling to Atlanta and receiving IV infusions every two weeks in that time period. NEVER ONCE HAS HE COMPLAINED! He keeps a smile on his face!

In our journey, we found ourselves in need of an accessible van. Have you seen the price of those bad boys?! The Jett Foundation assisted us in obtaining an accessible van through their Jett Giving Fund. They covered HALF THE COST - that was roughly $18k, y'all!

Not only did the Jett Foundation help with the van, they continued to be front and center for the Duchenne and neuromuscular communities through the pandemic. Javon has participated in virtual camps along with many others, they let Janessa, his sister join in the fun with no complaints. The Jett Foundation has an emergency fund available for families in times of crisis. They offer support groups for families and continue to be a landing zone for many of us.

I've said it before, the Jett Foundation continues to pour into those they serve. Help me, help them continue to help other Duchenne families in need.

Our collective goal is to come together as a team across the country to raise funds and awareness for Duchenne!
