RUNNING A HALF MARATHON… TOGETHER 👀

Earlier this year, Alice crossed the finish line of the London Marathon, completing 26.2 miles in under four hours, an achievement that sparked something in Emily.

Watching Alice take on such an incredible challenge, and standing amongst thousands of strangers all cheering each other on with so much kindness, emotion, and encouragement, was a moment we’ll never forget. It was a reminder of how powerful determination can be and how incredible a community coming together really is.

So, we’ve done something we never thought we would… we’ve signed up to run the Manchester Half Marathon together on 4th October, and we genuinely cannot wait. This isn’t just about crossing a finish line. It’s about stepping outside our comfort zones, proving to ourselves that we can do hard things, and turning every mile into something that can make a difference.

Together, we’re running to raise money for Moya Cole Hospice Manchester, a place that provides incredible care, comfort, and support to families during some of their hardest moments.

Our joint fundraising goal is £600, and between now and October we’ll be hosting family discos, quiz nights, and other events to help us reach that target.

Every donation, every share, every message of encouragement, and every person who comes along to support us means more than you’ll ever know.

The best part? It won’t just be one Ruby sister taking on those 13.1 miles… it’ll be both of us, Emily & Alice, taking on every mile together (although, let’s be honest, Alice might still be a little bit ahead 😂).
