Story
5 years ago, after months of gruelling training, Suze was ready and so buzzin' to run the 2020 London Marathon. Sadly COVID had other plans and she promised herself she’d never force herself to run again.
Fast forward 5 years, she’s here again (LOL) but this time with her husband & Zee-Zaa (Zoe) in tow, or should we say, MILES in front!
Year after year we watch and we say ‘we should be bloody running that’ and finally we can say we will be and we’re so excited, if not utterly terrified!
Thanks to the incredible BASICS charity we’ve been given this opportunity and we can’t wait to raise all of the money we can!
BASICS (British Association for immediate care) are an amazing bunch of volunteer medical professionals based all around rural areas of the UK that aid the ambulance service in providing pre hospital care in more severe major incidents and specialist cases. Through the provision of highly skilled doctors, nurses and paramedics they’re able to support our incredible ambulance service up and down the country.
We’re so grateful for them for not only the inspiring work that they do day in day out for patients but also for giving us the opportunity to full-fill our bucket list dreams of running in one of the most famous marathons, in our home city!
Please help us reach our goal, give kudos, come cheer, throw jelly babies at us and donate what you can!
Eeeek! 😬
