Story

Welcome to Clare and Amelia’s Just Giving fundraising page. On 24th May, we are running the 2026 Edinburgh Half Marathon to raise as much money as possible for Bowel Cancer UK.

We are running this half marathon in memory of Amelia's sister Nicky who died aged 48 in November 2025. She was a keen runner and she ran a half marathon just two weeks before she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in November 2020. She courageously fought this brutal disease for 5 years before her death last year.

Running a half marathon won't be easy for us, but we will do it with her as our inspiration. Any support you can give to us to raise as much money as possible for Bowel Cancer UK would be most appreciated.
