Story
In December 2022, I turned 42, an age I had been dreading as this was how old my Dad was when he died of Oesophageal cancer 27 years ago. He was an incredibly optimistic man, with a positive outlook on life, and because of this, I have decided to embrace being 42 and to not wish the year away-I want to make every moment of 42 count.
Therefore I have set myself the challenge of raising £42,000 in 2023, for four different charities that are important to me, my family and friends. I will hope to achieve this goal by completing a number of physical challenges and hosting events throughout the year. Everyone is more than welcome to join in with the challenges and I would love to see as many people as possible at the events!
The charities I am fundraising for are; The Royal Marsden (team member 1), Breast Cancer Now (team member 4), Mind (team member 2) and CALM (Team member 3).
if you would like to donate to any of the above charities, the links are found on the team page. Your support and any contributions will be hugely appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read about my 42k challenge - may 2023 be filled with adventures, love, laughter and many happy memories for you all.
Love Sas 💕
