Little Green Sock is an amazing charity helping so many families in the Greater Manchester area.

Since 2022, Little Green Sock Project has supported over 1,300 children, redistributing more than £240,000 worth of essential items like clothing, cots, prams, and stair gates to local families, saving 20 tonnes of items from landfill.

However, they are at risk of closure following news that the charity’s current premises in Stretford Mall are scheduled for demolition in 2025.

Without securing a new premises, the baby bank’s services — a lifeline for families across Trafford, Salford, and Manchester — will be forced to close, leaving the Trafford area without any baby bank provision.

I am fundraising for the Great Manchester Run to help support the organisation which is bringing a vital lifeline to families in the area.
