2023 is the 10th anniversary of the pedElle cycling challenge - the 'must do' event for women in the property sector. This year we're headed to Slovenia and will be cycling almost 400km over three days... including through some pretty large hills (almost 6000m of climbing over 3 days, which is more than cycling up Mount Kilimanjaro!).              

SEGRO is one of the event sponsors in 2023 so for every £1 that Team SEGRO raise above our £4000 group target, 50% will be awarded to a charity of our choice and will be directed towards some of the charity projects linked to our Community Investment Plans (https://www.segro.com/responsible-segro/community-investment-plans) which makes the ride even more meaningful for us.

The remainder of the money raised will be going to Club Peloton (clubpeloton.org). Club Peloton (clubpeloton.org) is the charity and real estate cycling community transforming the lives of young people. Since 2006, it has given £4.5 million in grants to projects that make a real difference, including:

- recruiting families for 1,150 children waiting longer than 18 months to find adoptive homes
- assisting 500 families with post adoption support
- awarding 800 bikes, tandems and adapted trikes to children and young people affected by cancer
- supporting research to illustrate the relationship between physical and mental well-being and physical activity in children surviving cancer
- tackling the root causes of violent street crime through 18 amazing projects
- assisting the children of 27 families living with a loved one with MSA
