15 years after our first marathon together, The Shilton Storm — Simon, Danielle and Naomi — are reuniting once again for the Sydney Marathon on Sunday 30th August.

The last time we ran, it was in memory of our brother Christopher. This time, we’ll be running to make memories, supporting Alzheimer’s Research UK, one of the world’s leading dementia research charities. They’re working to revolutionise the way dementia is treated, diagnosed and prevented — and with your support, they’ll keep going until everyone is free from the heartbreak of dementia. They exist for a cure.

Our wonderful dad, Rodney, has been diagnosed with dementia, and we also watched our beautiful Grandma May live with Alzheimer’s. This cause means so much to us.

So, 35 years after we lost our brother, we’ll be doing our Shilton best to honour him and to support a team dedicated to transforming the lives of everyone affected by dementia — including our loved ones and yours. #TeamARUK
