Story
Team St Philips is proud to be supporting an extraordinary fundraising challenge alongside Matt Chatting, in aid of Carter the Brave and Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity.
Carter the Brave was established by Lucy and Matthew Chatting after their son Carter was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia at a young age. What began as a heartfelt response to the care the family received has grown into a dedicated fundraising group supporting childhood cancer research, medical equipment and enhanced care at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. Over the years, Carter the Brave has helped fund vital research projects, specialist equipment and facilities that directly improve outcomes and experiences for young oncology patients.
This year, Matt Chatting is taking on the Snowdon 50 Challenge - climbing up and down Mount Snowdon 50 times in just 10 days to raise essential funds and awareness. It is a substantial physical test and a powerful way to draw attention to the ongoing needs of families and children affected by cancer.
Team St Philips will be joining Matt for one of those days, supporting him to complete five full climbs up and down the mountain in a single day. We will be there to show our support and contribute to this effort.
We have been honoured to support Carter the Brave in the past, including previous challenges such as the Sahara Trek, and we are committed once again to helping make a difference for children and families who need it most.
Every donation, however large or small, directly helps Carter the Brave and Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity continue their vital work. Your support is truly appreciated.
