The Light The Lakes event sees teams of police officers, staff, retired officers and friends light up the famous Wainwright fells of Cumbria in memory of colleagues who have lost their lives on duty.

2018 was the Team's first outing onto the Peaks when around 70 were covered. 2019 was an exceptional year and 208 peaks had a team on them.

After 2020's cancellation we are all hoping that this year will be the year that every single peak is covered for the first time in the events history.
