The Shooting Star Space Race is a virtual event that will see walkers, runners and cyclists collectively covering the distance to and from the moon! It’s an astronomical 238,855 miles to the moon and we have just 31 days (the month of March) to get there. The Corporate Team at Shooting Star felt this was a little too extreme so their resident science expert Professor Popplepants has created a way to convert the kinetic energy of one Earth mile into 50 space miles making the distance to the moon just 4,777 miles…Our team here at Market Harborough/Oadby are hoping to complete 250 miles over the month!!
