We the Streatham Freewheelers are 10 school friends who have challenged 10 of our teachers to virtually cycle from Daley Fitness gym in Putney to the centre of Kyiv. We have three weeks to complete the challenge and to see who is the fittest and the fastest whilst supporting the Empire Heroes Fund and Daley's team raising essential funds for the DEC Ukraine Appeal. We hope that others will also rise to the challenge.

DEC charities and their local partners are in Ukraine and across the border in the neighbouring countries. They are working to meet the immediate needs of all people fleeing with food, water, medical assistance, protection and trauma care.

£30 could provide essential hygiene supplies for three people for one month

£50 could provide blankets for 4 families to keep them warm

£100 could provide emergency food for two families for one month
