SuperTroop September 2026

Raising money for SuperTroop

We run a week-long residential holiday for children and young people with disabilities every summer in Edinburgh. All our team are volunteers. We're focused on giving our holiday-makers a WONDERFUL week, and GROWING our scheme to offer more holidays across Scotland.

Story

This 'SuperTroop September', we are taking part in a number of different challenges to raise money for SuperTroop.

Why Support SuperTroop

Each year, SuperTroop runs a holiday for children and young people (holidaymakers) with disabilities to provide them magical new opportunities and experiences for independence. The holidaymakers are given the opportunity to enjoy a break, have fun and take part in activities they would otherwise not get the chance to experience.

Importantly, it also offers families of the holidaymakers a week-long break so they can rest, spend time with other family and have some time to themselves.

I’ve been involved with SuperTroop since I was 17, back in 2019. Seeing the positive impact first-hand these holidays have on both the families and children who attend is incredibly rewarding, and it’s a charity I’m proud to volunteer with and support.

SuperTroop heavily relies on donations to operate and there is no other service in Scotland quite like it. Every donation, no matter the size, helps make these experiences possible for more for children and young people with disabilities and their families.

Thank you so much for your support - it genuinely makes a HUGE difference to the holidaymakers and families who benefit from SuperTroop.
