Story
On the 17/03/2025, reluctantly I had to return to London.
Many people are aware that I suffer from Anorexia. Although I am aware that I am ill, due to the medical professionals especially the Eating Disorders Clinic at South West London, St Georges, refusing to support me has given me the false sense that I am actually well. Over the period of 13/03/2025 and to the 17/03/2025 I was found unconscious several times with my wonderful dog, Precious barking to alert people.
If you would like to continue to support the two causes that I am currently fundraising for: StreetVet and The Listening Place, I would be so grateful. I was about 10 km from Portsmouth when I had to return.
I am planning to sell my drawings to aid these charities. If you have anything you would like to draw, I can do people but I don't want to give them a big nose, unless they deserve it!
Please see the pictures that I have drawn, not the full list, each picture takes over 20 hours to do. I use pencil, graphite, chalk and other black/grey and white materials. I do not know how to do colour! My artist name is Taka.

Thank you for dropping by, it is a pleasure meeting you.
Precious is my Assistance Dog. Initially, she was just my pet until a life-changing event occurred in January 2021 when I became reliant on a wheelchair. Precious is now invaluable, helping me manage my autism, low blood sugar due to anorexia, and seizures—all without any formal training.
We are embarking on an ambitious journey to walk over 1,000 km to raise essential funds for two small yet life-saving charities, StreetVet and The Listening Place. Both charities have had a profound impact on our lives. The Listening Place saved my life.
You can read more about why these charities are deeply intertwined with our journey, as each one has supported us for different reasons. Due to the length of these stories, I encourage you to visit the fundraising pages for more details:

StreetVet: www.justgiving.com/page/sv

To better understand the challenges faced by homeless individuals, I will be engaging in wild camping, locating an appropriate site while carrying a rucksack weighing over 18 kilograms.
We will be going to StreetVet's 16 outreaches across England, Wales, and Scotland. I am not sure Precious is equally enthusiastic about this journey and probably would prefer her soft, fluffy bed!
Since September 2024, we have been training. Throughout this period, it has become clear that Precious is capable of walking approximately 15 km per day. I plan to walk for 2 or 3 days, followed by a rest day. Throughout my training, I have learned valuable lessons about what is essential to bring. For example, you must peg the side of the tent to ensure the inner tent stays dry! Don’t bring a Brillo pad to wash dishes or cook scrambled eggs!!!
Although these trips were for training, being back in the countryside and wilderness has reduced my seizures from up to 30 a month to just two. My mental health has improved, and I no longer feel as suicidal as I did at the end of 2023. I have loved getting soaked in mud and I am truly in my element. When I have shared photos and videos with my friends, it demonstrates that I am genuinely happy. My eyes are shining with excitement, and a wide smile spreads across my face. I am showing my true self.
Precious will be assessed on March 2nd to ensure she is fit for the walk. Vets will check her at each outreach and on the first Sunday of every month.
The walk begins on the 3rd of March 2025. We will start from Pimlico, The Listening Place, where I received support, and head to Brighton, then along the South Coast to Lands End. Then, we will travel north to Inverness, climbing the three National Peaks along the way.
With your generosity and support, we have the opportunity to make a significant impact on these two remarkable charities that have been instrumental in saving lives. After 30 years, I am finally exploring a substantial part of the United Kingdom.
I believe in our mission and that I will succeed.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support.
Updates will also be regularly updated here and on our walking
