“When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly, and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research, and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community”- stroke association
Six months ago, my son Reggie experienced a hemorrhagic stroke at just five years old with no warning. This sudden event brought unimaginable challenges to our family. Thankfully, I reached out to the Stroke Association, who have been there every step of the way—providing guidance on questions to ask at neuro appointments and offering someone to listen to our worries.
Learning to live with the changes that come from an acquired brain injury is hard, but the Stroke Association supports families through this journey. With more donations and support from you, we can rebuild even more lives.
This March, I am joining friends and colleagues in taking on the challenge of walking 74 miles for the Stroke Association. Our goal is to raise £500 to help continue this vital work. Your generosity can make a real difference in supporting those affected by strokes.
Please consider donating today and help us make an impact together.
