Raising money for SUDC UK and Balloons

Story

My name's Kerry and I haven't had a haircut for over 2 years, but that's about to change...

On March 15th, alongside a couple of my hairy pals (Alex & Ollie), I shall be shaving my head in aid of SUDC UK & Balloons, two charities that have provided my family with a great deal of support in the wake of the death of my beautiful, mischievous niece, Maeve, in 2022.

I might not be doing something as challenging as a marathon (let's face it, that was never gonna happen, I haven't the knees for it), but shaving my head feels as scary as jumping out of a plane, or as bonkers as bathing in a tub of baked beans, but less faffy and messy.

Below you can read a little bit about each of the charities. Both have been invaluable in helping my brother's family, and I know would be grateful for any donation you are able to make.

If you choose to donate you'll have the option to select which charity gets your donation. Or if you're feeling generous you could always donate twice (*ahem*).

The charities we're supporting:

SUDC UK is a registered, national charity dedicated to raising awareness, funding research and supporting families affected by Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC).

Balloons is a small charity that works alongside families and professionals to support bereaved children and young people in East and Mid Devon when someone significant in their lives dies.

Thank you for reading, now raid your piggybanks and donate, I didn't grow this hair for nothing!

Cheers,

Kerry
