Saucony Cambridge Half Marathon 2020 · 8 March 2020 ·

We believe young people should be listened to without judgement. Centre 33 have been offering free and confidential information and support to young people for over 40 years. We support any young person up to the age of 25 with their mental health, caring responsibilities, housing and more.

Story

A team of ten runners are taking on the 2020 Cambridge Half-Marathon to raise money for Centre 33. Please support the team, help us get over the finish line and raise valuable funds for our work with young people.

Centre 33 is a local charity that supports young people, aged 8-25, across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. Each year we work with approximately 2,500 young people.

Our mission is to help every young person fulfil their potential by supporting them with their practical and emotional needs. We do this through a variety of free and confidential services, which include one-to-one support, counselling, advocacy, group work and respite activities.

We were established in Cambridge in 1981 and now have five main hubs across the county in Cambridge, Ely, Peterborough, Huntingdon and Wisbech. We also work in schools and local community venues.

We help young people to be emotionally and physically healthy , safely housed , in employment or meaningful education / training and to have improved financial situations . We also help to reduce the negative impact of their caring responsibilities.

The team will take on the 13.1 mile course around the streets of Cambridge on Sunday 8th March 2020.

Last year we raised over £6,500 to help us support local young people. Please help us raise even more this year.
