Raising money for A Bear Named Buttony

Aberdeen Kiltwalk 2026 · 7 June 2026 ·

A Bear Named Buttony is a Scottish Charity providing support throughout the UK to children and young people who have a stoma. We donate Buttony, a cuddly friend, who has a stoma to children through a network of paediatric stoma nurses and direct through our FaceBook page. For Young Adults with a stoma we donate a wash bag full of non medical items to help them adapt to life with a stoma. Thanks so much for considering supporting our work. Together we can raise awareness and banish the 'poo' taboo!

Story

Hi Folks

Thanks a million for popping onto our JustGiving page, we genuinely appreciate it .

We’re back at it again for the Aberdeen Kiltwalk this year. None of us fully understand why. Apparently walking miles in Scottish weather seemed like a good idea at the time of signing up.

All joking aside, we’re doing it to give something back to an awesome local cause. This year, we’ve chosen to support A Bear Named Buttony, a charity that’s really close to our hearts and one we properly believe in.

Every donation, big or small, gives us that extra push when the blisters kick in and the feet swell up like baps, and the finish line still looks 18 miles away.

As always ,thanks again for the support, every contribution is appreciated
