Raising money for Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance

Forth Bridge Abseil · 8 October 2023 ·

Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance is Scotland’s only charity-funded air ambulance service. We rely on public support to keep flying and responding to time-critical emergencies wherever they occur in Scotland. No one in Scotland should die because help can't get there in time.

Story

Ten of us at ESUAS are looking to support the essential life saving service that Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance provides by abseiling the Forth Road Bridge. This is an incredibly important charity, providing emergency response care and transport for Scotland, from broken limbs on hillsides, to serious RTA's and time critical emergencies.

We’re hoping to fundraise as much as possible, as SCAA receives no statutory government funding. SCAA relies 100% on donations to fuel their life-saving flights so every £1 counts.

Lets face it, there’ll be photographic evidence of us looking daft that’ll be worth every penny you donate!

Thanks!
