We are the team of Kiltwalkers who will be walking and raising money for Indepen-dance - an award-winning inclusive dance charity for disabled and non-disabled people to enjoy, express and fulfil their potential through dance together.

Team Indepen-dance has 6 walkers in the Glasgow Kiltwalk 2024. One of our walkers will be walking the 'Wee Wander' from Loch Lomond shores to Moss O'balloch park which is 3.1 miles. The other 5 walkers will be walking The Mighty Stride from Glasgow Green to Balloch on the shore of Loch Lomond which is 22.6 miles in length. Collectively we are walking 116.1 miles for the Glasgow Kiltwalk 2024!

We are looking to raise money for the general running costs of Indepen-dance. Indepen-dance runs 28 weekly online and in-person dance and physical movement classes across multiple venues in Glasgow. Our classes are open and accessible to all, catering to all ages ranging from 0-75. We have three performance companies which provide the opportunity for disabled dancers to perform nationally and internationally. We also provide monitoring training opportunities; our commitment to inclusion is demonstrated by 42% of our staff having a disability.
