Team Larkman: Fundraising for The National Brain Appeal

Raising money for The National Brain Appeal

Saucony London 10k 2026 · 12 July 2026 ·

There are 14.7million people – that’s more than one in six – in the UK living with a neurological condition. Here at the country's leading neurological centre, we’re passionate about supporting the hospital to help improve the lives of patients through treatment and research.

Story

In August 2025, the unthinkable happened. Our brother, James, had a serious cycling accident while out on one of his regular Sunday bike rides. He was airlifted to King’s College Hospital with a traumatic brain injury, where he stayed for four weeks.

Through his determination, the love and care of his wife, Rachael, his wider family and friends and the incredible support of his medical team, he has made a remarkable recovery. We are running the London 10k alongside our brother, who is now visually impaired, to raise important funds for the National Brain Appeal, which has provided critical support to James during his recovery. Please donate whatever you can. Thank you very much from us all.
