We are raising money in memory of Martin Nimmo. He received excellent care from St Andrew's Hospice during the last month of his life and we'd like to help them continue the wonderful work they do to provide care and treatment for those living with life-limiting illnesses and their families.

Why Ben Nevis ? In his early twenties, while working at the Creag Meagaidh National Nature Reserve, Martin led parties of volunteers to the summit of Ben Nevis.

Also, he liked a challenge and was always encouraging others to push themselves and as we've never attempted the summit this is a perfect challenge !

So, an ascent of 4435 feet over 10.5 miles taking between 7 and 9 hours ! Wish us luck !
