Team Sentient will be taking part in the Relay for Life on Saturday 23rd August 2025 as part of our #Making40Matter campaign.

Relay For Life celebrates the power of community fundraising to make breakthroughs happen.

Across the UK and the globe, teams of friends, families and colleagues fundraise for world-leading research to save and improve lives, then unite as a community at an event to honour everyone affected by cancer and celebrate the progress we’re making.

How does the money we raise power progress?

- £65 could buy special restriction enzymes. These act like molecular scissors to cut long strands of DNA, allowing our scientists to find out more about the genes that can cause cancer.

- £220 could fund our team of nine cancer nurses for one hour.

Their nurse helpline offers confidential support and guidance to people affected by cancer.
