Im raising money for a fantastic charity that provides help and support for just everyday people like myself .. The Christie is a place where Angels work and provide an unbelievable amount of care and support to everyone that enters through the door..

This disease does not really mean anything to anyone until you are directly affected by it either within yourself or family member .

To be honest until I was diagnosed in early November I have never truly understood what the patients , families and carers go through on a daily basis and how important it is to have strong support network around you . But this starts with The Christie and the wonderful people who work there on a daily basis .

I have done plenty of runs in the past and raised plenty of money for Charities but this one is different .. It's so very close to my heart and is a huge goal for me during my treatment to get to the 21st May ... This run is something Ive done before but not under these current health conditions and hopefully by the time this comes along my treatment should be finished and then its just fingers crossed ..I needed to have a goal in my head and this is one that I will be completing with a few close friends and my brothers John , Reece and my nephew Ben.

This is all about just "Taking Care Of Business"
