Raising money for Tiny Tickers
In memory of Teo

Peak District Ultra Challenge 2025 · 28 June 2025 · Start fundraising for this event

Congenital heart disease is one of the biggest killers of infants. Every 2 hours a baby is born with a serious heart defect. Our specialist training means that now more than half of them are picked up during pregnancy. This is why Tiny Tickers exists; to give babies a better start in life.

Story

In loving memory of our beautiful little boy, Teo.

Our baby boy, Teo, was born with a congenital heart defect in May 2023. He was incredibly strong and absolutely perfect in every way. However, our lives were shattered as the procedure that was supposed to mend his heart went extremely wrong and he died during surgery. We are determined to keep his memory alive and to create a beautiful legacy in his name.

We are raising money for Tiny Tickers in honour of Teo. Tiny Tickers help babies born with congenital heart disease and their families in so many ways. They also support grieving parents who have lost a child to CHD and the empathy, warmth and love we have received from them has been incredible.

Last year, Matt (Teo's dad), Chris and Sam (Teo’s uncles), took part in the Peak District Ultra Challenge for the first time. We raised an amazing amount for Tiny Tickers with Matt running 25km and Chris and Sam hiking 75km. This year, we will be taking a step further and participating in the FULL 100KM CHALLENGE. We are hoping to raise as much money as possible to keep on supporting Tiny Tickers and their outstanding work.

Thank you in advance for supporting us in this incredible challenge. It means the world to us that you want to collaborate in Teo's memory.
