🥾 Team Freedom: Gaby & Christie

We’re taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge together to raise money for The Freedom Fund, a campaign led by Soul Sisters to help women flee abusive relationships and rebuild their lives with dignity and safety.

👋 I’m Gaby, a trustee of Soul Sisters and the lead on The Freedom Fund campaign. I’ve poured my heart into this campaign. I know how hard it is to leave when you can’t afford to. I know the costs - financial, emotional, practical. And I know how life-changing it is when someone helps you start again.

💜 I’m Christie, and I’m doing this because Gaby is my best friend. I’ve watched her build this campaign with courage and compassion, and I wanted to support her every step of the way - literally. I believe in what this fund can do, and I’m proud to be walking beside her.

Together, we’re raising £75,000 to support 30 women. That money will help cover rent, emergency accommodation, food, legal help, therapy, and all the essentials needed to escape abuse and start over.

We know the Three Peaks will be a challenge - but we’re doing it for the women who face far harder ones every day.
