In the UK over 300,000 children experience the death of someone close in childhood. This year Grief Encounter celebrates its 20th Anniversary, acknowledging the legacy of supporting so many children, young people and families who have been affected by the pain of grief. This year we are taking part in with a special family memory on Father's Day, and at the same time in recognition of all those families who we know still need help and children who are dealing every day with feelings of intense longing for the person who died.
